There are a variety of Twitter-centric apps available at the App Store for the iPad, but let’s face it, there’s just something about the original that people find appealing.
As such as is the case, we’re proud to let you guys know that the official Twitter app for the iPad is now finally available. So, what you can expect from Twitter for iPad? For starters, thanks to the iPad’s large display, you can now play embedded videos inline. It also allows you to browse through the timeline while the video is loading so you that you can spend your time more productively than just wait. Tapping on a tweet, for its part, opens up a new pane for you to play around with. Simply swipe to the left or right to switch between open panes. Pinching on a tweet, meanwhile, allows you to quickly view details about the author and/or retweet or reply to what he/she just posted. Using two fingers and pulling down on a tweet will allow you to view all the replies to the tweet.
Twitter’s got a pretty nifty little iPad app here that I’m sure you twitterholics out there will enjoy. Twitter for iPad is available at the App Store and won’t cost you a thing to download.
